  DC has been my rehearsal room of choice since my first band back in the early 2000's. The space was more than suitable for my 5 piece band, and in my current project as a 3 piece, its even better.
  
  You can comfortably fit a drummer, 2 guitarists, bassist, keyboards and a singer in either of their rooms, and with the new treatment to the lower room, they are matched for dampening reverberation, and giving a clear sound, essential for listening out for imperfections, and making a good practice session possible.
  
  The equipment provided is more than adequate for any local bands: breakables, heads/pedals and guitars are all your going to need. The PA is plenty loud enough in either room to get past the sound of animal hammering the cymbals, and there is very little room noise, so what you hear is what you play.
  
  There is ease of access in the building with a short and wide staircase up to the top room (easy to get a couple of 4x12's up there) and good parking for any bands who like ourselves, bring a lot of gear.
  
  Recording prices are very humble given the quality of the finished product, Adam and his guys know their stuff, and are very adept with any kind of material you throw at them.
  
  The staff are all very friendly and willing to help out at a moments notice with anything they can. For example, we play with a click track, have no bassist, and play an instrumental progressive style of metal. Not usually easy to get away with in a rehearsal room. I'd bought some gear get the click to the drummers in-ears and pump bass and backing lines through the PA, but forgot them when we set off. Adam managed to cobble together the whole backline of our backing material setup for the PA before we had even arrived at the studio. Thats dedication!
  
  Ive never been double-booked, and the flexibility of booking time allocations is perfect for a band who is restricted with things like university and work schedules. In conclusion, I would recommend DC Studios to anyone looking for a good place to jam with friends, practice some serious music, or put the ideas in your head down on a track.

  A multifunctional studio environment that caters to various types of musical genre, DC Studios has a welcoming feel that encourages artists to relax and enjoy the process of recording or rehearsing.
  
  On walking into the studio there is definitely an inviting ambience to the place, and looking around there are some cool toys (Piano, AC 30 and Neumann U87 (amongst many others)) for artists to use and play with. All Good. Scanning the walls I also spot some very impressive musical memorabilia along with homages to some of the greatest recording artists in history. All better than good.
  
  From here it didn't take long for the band to get into the mood for experimenting, which was encouraged and facilitated by the open minded approach of the sound engineer at DC.
  
  DC has loads of cool toys and recording equipment, but the main charm in this place is the people you get to work with. Seriously talented, experimental and dedicated folk work at DC, people who care a great deal about the many unseen aspects of professional recording. If you want the sound of a frog with piles farting into a tuba, then the chances are you will get it here.
  
  We have experienced laboured recording sessions many times at overpriced studios all across the UK, and were grateful that DC Studios is not like the rest of them. If you are Yorkshire based then you need look no further, if you are from the rest of the world then get yourselves to Yorkshire and check out DC Studios.
